  1. Property Assessment – we receive the address of the property and take desk top based measurements of the height and perimeter of the property.
  2. Quote – we receive the address of the property, then assess the ground risks and airspace risks to ensure a safe and compliant drone inspection is undertaken. These are collated along with the property assessment so a quote can be provided.
  3. Preplanning and Risk Assessment – once the quote is accepted, we carry out a comprehensive ‘Prefight plan and Risk Assessment’ for approval by the Property Management team. Crucially this includes ground hazards, population risks, airspace clearance along with operational considerations. A date and time is agreed to proceed factoring in weather considerations (risk of wind, rain, freezing fog and so on).
  4. Qualified Drone Operator – our drone operators qualified by the Civil Aviation Authority and trained ground safety marshals are deployed to site.
  5. Site Set up – Relevant PPE is worn, safety signs and a cordon are set up for the take-off/landing area. Residents are notified via a letter drop and the Police are advised we are on site to allay public concerns. In some circumstances we would also have pre-advised and notify on the day Heliports, Airport Air Traffic Controllers, National Rail, and other critical organisations. We hold a CSCS Green Card for access to construction sites.
  6. Post Site Visit – we then progress to postproduction, based on the Property Managers brief the outputs from the drone data collection are moved into postproduction. Depending on the type of outputs required and size of the project this phase typically takes 3-7 working days.
  7. Outputs – as standard we provide an annotated report of the property, visual issues identified and areas for attention. This report has links that, when clicked, open an online portal to view high resolution images and videos. The online portal can then be used by the Property Manager or their Surveyor to further inspect, group up fault types, allocate to maintenance teams and overall manage the project in one place. We help and advise on how to achieve this efficiency.
